What is the problem?
SVOffice2009 defaults to storing model files in a "root directory" located at C:\SVS\Model_Files2009. The root directory can be chosen as any folder on the computer or network. You can maintain multiple root directories and switch between them. See: I moved my SVOffice2009 model files to a new location on my computer. How do I get SVOffice2009 to find those files?
We do not recommend specifying a root directory located within the Windows Program Files directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\ for example). Windows may not actually store the files in this location, but place them in a Virtual Store directory under your user account. For example a root directory specified in SVOffice as:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SoilVision\SVS\Model_Files2009
the files may actually be stored by Windows in:
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\SoilVision\SVS\Model_Files2009
What can I try?
Try clicking on the Compatibility Files button in Windows Explorer while in the root directory where you expect to find the files. This will likely cause you to be automatically redirected under C:\Users\YourNames\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\...
